"There are much nicer areas in Caen. This is very close to the train and rental cars, but there are a lot of people hanging out in front of the building. The staff was amazing. Everyone was very accomodating, friendly and helpful."

That said, it's very close to the wonderful beach, and also services like a grocery store (Carrefour Market). Carole at the reception desk is a pleasure to deal with. Downtown is about one kilometre away, an easy and pleasant walk. Very recommended."
