"For a cheap hostel in Luang Prabang, this was great. I loved that everything was in good walking distance such as the Phosi Hill and the night market, However, some things to consider, this hostel didn't have much in the way of security. We weren't given any key to the front door or room meaning everything was open and anyone could walk in at any time. Also keep in mind that there are no lockers in the room, on top of this the showers and toilets were not very clean, all for £5 a night you can't...

I stayed in the all-female 12-bunk dorm and the bed was so spacious and comfortable - there was lots of room to put your bags at the end and multiple little shelves to put your things on. The staff were so friendly and the free shuttle to and from the night market was so convenient, I went every night of my stay. "My friend and I needed a place to stay for two days until our flight. This guesthouse was very comfortable with two twin beds, en suite, dresser, tv, fridge and ac to use as required. Price was very reasonable. Yard and hotel very picturesque , beautiful woodwork throughout. And very friendly and helpful people. I loved it and would come back . "

"We stayed for 3 nights and on our return the first night the hotel was locked . Supposed to be 24 reception. No sign of anyone. We eventually gained access via the car park. In the 3 days we stayed housekeeping never came to our room. Water never replaced, towels not changed. However the worst part of staying here is the fact that it is not where it appears on the Hotels.com map but it actually around 2km further out of the centre of the old town.
