"The hotel is a renovated motel that was on the old route 66. It was nicely done, and had private parking. The restaurant and bar were excellent and the free "light" breakfast was better than mose continental ones. They also allow dogs, though an additional $30 non refundable cleaning fee was added to the already extra $25 a night per dog. First time for that. It is a bit far from the Plaza, but an easy drive.
