"Second time we have stayed here. Ate in the evening and had breakfast. The staff were very good and friendly and the food was excellent. We actually stayed in the same room on both occasions, was like going down memory lane. Would definitely stay again, if in the area. "

"The Old Post Office is easy to find from the bus station. A warm welcome from the manager and easy to follow instructions for getting in out of hours. Room is cosy and comfortable. The Old Post Office is just a 5-10 minute walk to the Minster. If you’re going to a show at the Minster, you can’t go wrong staying over at The Old Post Office. "

"Really nice reception staff and made us feel welcome and was really nice to us as we stayed there because my daughter had an operation and needed to rest after and they made sure we had everything we needed and one of them even offered to fill her hot water bottle for her stomach. So thank u. The rooms are small but u dont need much when it's just for a rest spot for a few days. Thanks again to the staff and making sure my daughter had everything she needed. Much appreciated."

"Overall very happy with my stay although discovered the cutlery at the end of the stay and being small having essential items on the highest shelf wasnt the best. The accommodation was central although noisy due to local bars. The fire alarm went off at6.25 on Sunday morning and it was gone 8 before the security arrived to turn it off. "

"Unfortunately the four glass recycling bins at the back of the property were emptied early in the morning, creating great noise and waking us up. Otherwise OK."
