"Gorgeous wooden memorable hotel. It has wonderful charm and one of few buildings which has a sea view. We swam a few meters away from steps leading down into the sea water; ate and sipped drinks on the balcony; sat amongst the roses in the garden; read and browsed photographic book oks in the lounge. "Basically this listing on hotels.com has a lot of information that is not listed on their listed but is only provided to you after you've booked. On the listing, prior to my booking, the check in time is from 0900hrs but after booking, the property sent me an email stating check in is at 1600hrs. That's a discrepancy of 7 hours! Contacted the property via hotels.com chat and they just conveniently said please refer to their website. Why didn't they just put the right information at the listing...

I really enjoyed my visit to the Museum Langelandsfort in Denmark. It is on the site of a former active military base and has a wide range of military hardware and displays. There were artillery guns, bunkers, equipment rooms, submarine, minesweeper boats, tanks and fighter aircraft on display. Unlike other similar museums which lock everything away this one allows you to get up close and personal, touch walk through and even operate some of the equipment. Allow at least 3 hours as it is a big site with a fair amount of walking in between exhibits. As a suggestion, more translation of the displayed information into English, maybe an app or audio guide would be helpful in increasing the experience for international travellers.
