"The hotel is set inan amazing area. Walking distance to a shops. The hotel rooms were big and inviting. It was spotless and tidy. The bathroom showed some age but was perfectly functional. And as a cyclist you are very close to an old train track bed that is a shared cycle walking path with a tunnel that runs directly under the hotel. And into the main town centre. "

"Beds we very comfortable. Good quality sheets and duvet, perfectly pressed. We had two rooms. One with a balcony overlooking the river. Well worth the extra cost for before and after dinner river watching and early morning. The second room was labelled cosy double but had plenty of room. Staff very friendly and good menus. I really like that atmosphere. It’s relaxed and classy at the same time. "

"The Hotel was in a good location and near to a couple of pubs. I left a little too early for breakfast. Only one thing but it is only small could have done with more milk in the room only 3 small cartons other than that I will be staying with them again"
