I didn’t realize how far away this hotel was from bus stops or train stations when booking and found myself kind of stranded (I tried to walk to the bus stop 20minutes away and the streets immediately around the hotel are not designed for pedestrians). "Like others who have reviewed Old Age, we found the food to be outstanding. We stayed three nights. Breakfast was always the same, with a nice salad, soup, and very good sausage. The bread was excellent, too. Dinner was the same both nights, but again very good, the fish dish being especially delicious. Also, as others have noted, the room was very small and lacked space for our suitcases. The bathroom was quite possibly the smallest we have ever experienced in Japan - and we lived in Japan...
