"Booked last minute and on the day of my unplanned road trip. Lovely and friendly welcome despite arriving quite late. Hotel is the type of hotel I really like, oldie-waldy, very traditional service, reminded me of a British guest house in the 1960s, lots of period charm. "

"We stayed here 2 nights. It was a good base for some hiking in nearby Slovensky Raj. Meals OK. Staff as helpful as they could be given their limited English and our non-existent Slovakian. "
