"The rooms are clean but the property has deteriorated since we stayed less than two years ago. No kitchen service or breakfast available. First room we were assigned was missing the toilet seat! We were quickly moved to another room but this should have been fixed before the room was made available to rent. The staff were helpful. We won’t book this place next time unfortunately."

Unfortunately I had to ask the people in room next to me to close their door, as they made a considerable noise. (The doors faced each other.) "We first stayed at Bongani Mountain Lodge 15 years ago and returned when we saw it on special over new year. Not much has changed in 15 years. We had a nice time - the food was good and our ranger and tracker were pleasant and informative. I would not rate this lodge as luxury. The room, with a queen size bed, had seen better days and with the thatch roof and poor choice of tiles it always seemed a bit grubby. The game viewing is not great.
