Room was clean, had tea / coffee making facilities - and the place was close to Blaby town centre. Place is undergoing restoration though - so parts of it are untidy; it doesn't look like the photo on the website. No breakfast. Receptionist Glen though was very helpful. Good communication. I would recommend this place for work purposes - it's functional - but would not recommend it for...

"This is a comfortable place to stay closed to the city centre yet in a quiet and tranquil location. It is due to close and will be a great loss. We have stayed many times and will miss it enormously. Many thanks to the staff for their care and attention over the years."

"The photos online and the reality are worlds apart. The hotel looked abandoned, like it was inhabited by homeless people. The smell and dirt were overwhelming. We had to watch out for broken furniture on the stairs, a damaged wall, and debris on the floor. The bedding and bathroom were filthy. We left without staying even 10 minutes. This place should be shut down, not showcasing beautiful photos from maybe 20 years ago when it looked decent."
