"Hotel Villa Kinzica is a hidden gem in Pisa. We highly recommend it for your visit. It's only a two-minute walk to the base of the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the beautiful buildings surrounding it. Our room, #53, had a view of the tower.
The hotel is a traditional Italian hotel with furnishings and decor that reminded us of the 50s. When you enter the well-maintained and spotlessly clean hotel, it is instantly quiet and calm. It feels like a step back in time.

"I love this hotel so much it was my second visit. I describe it as wholesome. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the location is superb for train station (2mins), city wallls (5 mins) and parkrun start line (5 min walk) Lucca is special and well worth a visit. I will certainly be back next next to stay and this lovely little hotel but please don’t forget the 3 mins plug adapter for Italy and not a standard EU plug."
"We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel San Marco. Pietro was kind and knowledgeable and the staff at breakfast were also extremely nice and fast to respond. Breakfasts were fine and the room was very comfortable. The bar came in handy as well. Here are the only negatives: no facial tissues (not a huge deal but it was just a bit strange. So here's the only REAL problem: the cleaning staff were EXTREMELY loud starting at 8 AM in the hallway outside our room. Loud talking, laughing, banging stuff,...
"If given the option, don’t stay here. The comforter had staining of reddish/brown dots, there was other peoples hair in the bed, and we got laughed at when we asked someone to take a look and change the sheets. Once they were changed, we were speaking with the front desk girl and we inquired about the possibility of bed bugs and were told “if you can’t see anything there aren’t any” and ended the discussion.
On top of this, you’re locked into the parking and it has to be opened by the front...
