"Fantastic staff and location"

"Some aspects of the hotel are in disrepair (ie. door handles, one of the numbers for my room number was missing). The only real complaint I had, which I shared at reception and they received the feedback well, was that I placed the do not disturb sign on my door before leaving for an activity during the day; I had all my belongings spread over the room and I did not have the energy or time to put them away. While I was gone, the cleaning staff entered the room to clean. Nothing was missing, but...

"Location, staff at the front desk, service in the dining room, chef/ seafood and fish, and bed comfort were all excellent. Super helpful and kind given our changing circumstances. Walking the boardwalk and Saturday fish market were an enjoyable addition to our stay and easily accessible from the hotel. Thank you. "

"The room was good as was the bathroom. But the heated pool wasn't functioning and it took the better part of an hour to get the sauna working. Breakfast was good. A bit more service and tea/coffee facilities in the room would lift the experience. "

"I really enjoyed my stay here -- rooms with beautiful views of the ocean and friendly, helpful staff. On-site parking and a well-executed breakfast were much appreciated. The Hotel is 10 meters from the water and faces west (amazing sunsets!), and super close to the main square and market in town. Folks at the front desk were very patient with my limited Spanish and incredibly supportive when my travel plans shifted. Overall, this is a solid place!!!!"
