"Excellent location. Haymarket travel connection is so close to the Hotel. It made my adventure so easy. I could take the Tram or the 26 or 31 to princess Street to catch the 16 to get to The Shore. I enjoyed the Restaurant’s at The Shore like The Kitchin and The Ship on the Shore. They had an excellent breakfast."

"Hotel is fine for the price incl. a good breakfast buffet and parking. East to get to a P&R with charging and take the bus into Edinburgh. The hotel bar in the evening was not too wide a choice and when it got difficult to make a cocktail they stopped serving cocktails and only offered easy serves."

"The Moxy feels like it is trying really hard to be hip and cool. Maybe too hard. I should have realized when checking in and they didn't take a credit card for incidentals...because there are no incidentals to be had. In fact, our tiny rooms had no safe, no fridge, and no phone - I hope if you ever run out of toilet paper you have two rooms like we did so you won't have to go all the way down to the front desk to request more. We requested rooms close to one another and they managed 5 rooms...

"The location was excellent, since it was one block from the beginning of the royal Mile. Breakfast offered many good choices from sausage and eggs to fruit and cereal. The beds were great, with just the right bed covers for the season. The staff was most helpful, showing us where all the restaurants and other sites that we were interested in, were on the map. We couldn’t have asked for anything more."
