"The room and hotel was great. Modern, clean etc. However the breakfast was disappointing. Not much of a selection, cold quiche and baked beans! Utensils were paper plates and wooden knives and forks. Like camping! I understand the eco factor but when you’re paying over $200 per night it should be better. Don’t stay there for the food!"

"The colonial resort is a nice place to go to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. They have quiet and peaceful places to sit and enjoy nature. The resort could really use some love. It seems to be trapped in the 90s. If the outdoor pool gets a facelift, the grounds are kept up and the rooms get the love they need this could be a 5 star resort. Only major problems, were the strange location of the TV in the deluxe room, a few ants, and not enough pillows."

"It was an absolutely wonderful stay! The property is wonderfully located between the marina and the downtown restaurants making it wasy to access everything you need by walk. The house itself was completely charming and the room itself just as wonderful. The shared spaces were all unique and pleasant to sit and chat and have tea. The room was beautifully decorated with vintage furniture and the black and dark gold floral wallpaper really made you feel like you were in another world. Hidden away...
