"Great location overlooking the Fjord. Breakfast is efficient and full of varieties. They even started the breakfast at 5 to accommodate hikers. Room pictures do not justify the room, very spacious for a standard room, even has a sofa and working desk. Bathroom is super clean. "

"The towels were dirty or stained, the bathroom is tiny as well as the beds and the room was overall small. The view from the room is great. Overall I probably wouldnt stay here again but I think its okay if you don't mind a small space."

"The place is run by enthusiasts, motivated by the architectural significance of the 60s hydro-electric project. If that rings your bell, go for it. If not, think twice. The food is good and honest, I enjoyed the local trout for dinner and hand smoked salmon for breakfast (you can tell it's the real deal because there's the odd bone in, a machine wouldn't miss that). Apart from the food, view, nature, history, architecture and some pool access I didn't use, there isn't much else. No disco, no 24...
