  • It took us around two hours to get to the glacier through heavy rain, sleet, rough terrain and wind which threatened to blow our brains away. Not the easiest hiking route, I have to admit (well, it might be if the weather is welcoming and you're wearing a nice pair of water resistant boots) needless to say we were lacking any of those (dumb us). At some points you literally have to balance on a rope (very wet with ice cold water streaming down the sleeves as you're grabbing it) 90 degrees up the rocks. The very end is breathtaking though-massive pile of snow, ice and waterfalls all pale blue as the air is ridiculously clean there. Take extra care, however, the surfaces, little bridges and pathways get really slippery if it rains. Avoid if you're travelling with small children.

Excellent stay. Room was comfy and had nice views. Hotel was perfectly located for hiking excursions and the plentiful breakfast was a perfect way to start a day of hiking. The hotel restaurant was surprisingly delicious for dinner, and the bar had a great selection of local ciders.

Great location for a nice hotel stay.

The room was a bit small, but adequate. The bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and well-equipped. We really liked the location and view. A great breakfast was included.

FABULOUS customer service in Odda!!!

The customer service was FABULOUS!!! Food and wine were delicious and the views were spectacular! The rooms were very basic but comfortable (per the hotel’s star rating). Definitely recommend😊

Perfect place for a night before Trolltunga hiking

Located in a perfect place for a night before hiking to Trolltunga. Rather on the expensive side. It has very nice restaurant and a bar. Breakfast variety is limited yet provides quiet and calm environment for enjoying your morning time. Trolltunga car park is just 10 min away. There are big groceries and gas station nearby.
