Christian was also very helpful and kind throughout our stay - an invaluable asset to the hotel. "You will not find a more unique property or fascinating couple who are your hosts. They designed this volcanic tent/cottage resort with a panoramic view of Lake Atitlan and her Volcanoes. An amazing dining hall/bar etched into the volcanic rock with cusine made from scratch from your incredible Hosts Jochen y Gabbie. The sous vide steak/lomito was delicious. "The hotel in the Expedia listing stated it was 6 minutes by vehicle from the main park. With no traffic it was 15 minutes and with traffic, it was 30 minutes. I chose this hotel thinking it was close to downtown. There were only 8 TV channels and the internet was terrible. I wouldn't stay there again."
