"We stayed two nights on our Ring road trip, and it was one of the best places we’ve stayed on the island. Very comfortable beds, spacious 2 bedroom suite, gorgeous view of the fyord and very convenient to a grocery store, coffee house and a walking path. Our kids loved the maritime museum we’ve found nearby and the short hike to the Easter cave. Overall, we had a great stay which allowed us to rest between the strenuous activities and enjoy the peace and quiet of this beautiful little town."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Ásgeirsstaðir Cottages!! We wish we could have stayed more than just a night, but we had to move along to our next destination. The cottage was perfectly equipped with everything one might need. The beds were comfortable, there was a cozy living room and dining area, and our particular cabin was at the end of the road on the edge of a beautiful lupine patch. "The room was spotless, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. There's a well-equipped shared kitchen on the first floor where you can cook meals, toast bread, and prepare other food. Complimentary coffee and tea are also available, which was a nice touch. The only downside is that the room is a bit small for two people. Other than that, it was a great stay, and I would happily recommend it."

"This was our favourite stay while in Iceland. The cabins were well stocked and quiet, the right distance from town to feel removed. We were able to cook basic meals and we loved having access to a hot tub and sauna. Wouldn’t change a thing. It was lovely!"
