"Staff did not say hello or welcome us politely upon arrival, but did let us check in about 20 minutes early. Later in the day, we returned to the "shack", and noticed there was no hand soap in the bathroom, we asked for the WiFi password, and asked for the remote control to the television. We were then given some confusing excuse that the TV did not work due to compilcations due to the COVID lock down (which as we all know happened about 3 years ago at this point). "Do not recommend staying.
1. Hotel doesn’t have bathroom drain piping that would be complaint with North American standards. No P traps on any drains, (we were in more than one room)
2. Hotel staff accused us of ordering breakfast for room service and made a huge deal out of it. We never ate breakfast at the hotel. If you stay at this hotel demand they block charges to room service and require payment upon any food delivery.
3. The clothing cabinet was the only place I could store my suit....

"The room was clean and spacious, the Staff was fantastic in being both extremely kind and helpful.
The restaurant was exceptionally good both the Breakfast and dinner entrees were excellent.
I spent a few weeks at The Lighthouse and will absolutely recommend a stay.

"The staff struggled to find my reservation then told me our room was occupied and we need to pick a different room. rooms were not ready during their check in time. we found cockroaches and large spiders in the room when we finally got in. we left immediately. "

"Room is old, no hot water, no hair dryer. No phone in room. Too many stairs. View is not bad but very inconvenient, had to climb up and down for swimming pool and canteen. No one to call when check out, we had to climb up to ask the receptionist to 'zipline' our luggages up. Big suitcases will have issues I guess..."

"Please don't stay here. You'll get fleas.
Pros: Staff are polite and seemed like very nice people. Overall very friendly, respectful, and accomodating with arranging activities in the area, which is awesome! Ocean Front property, AC works. Beautiful ocean view from the front door of the room.
Now for the bad. Loudest hotel and area I've ever seen in a hotel. This has actually been one of the worst hotel experiences of my life. Keep mind this wasn't even a weekend. Its a Monday night.
