"Straight away, from the outside The Beach looked inviting and the location really was perfect. On checking in, the young lady at the desk was extremely helpful, cheerful and efficient. The room was light, airy and very clean with everything you need at hand. The shower was, without a doubt, the best hotel shower we had ever used, hot for as long as we needed it and fabulous pressure behind it. In the morning, after a restful sleep, we were directed to the dining area which had views out over the bay, and the staff simply couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was supplied to order and individual - not massed produced and was delicious. Overall, this is one of the best stop-over hotels we have ever used (and we've been in a few, let me tell you) and would definitely recommend The Beach to any and all visitors to Bude. Thank you for a lovely experience..."

"The Sawmill was recommended to us by a friend who stayed last year. We arrived to a warm welcome, by the manager, Ryan. The room was warm and inviting, and had everything we needed, (Water, tea, coffee etc, and hairdryer. As we had driven from Poole, we wanted to eat in. The fire is brilliant, the staff friendly, and the food worthy of 5 stars. There was real ale, and lovely melot wine. BReakfast was huge, and filling, all cooked fresh. We would recommend it to anyone."

"I was a guest at The Mole checking out on Monday, 2 February. When I returned home I realised that I had misplaced my stainless steel Rolex. I spoke that evening to Steve Parfitt on reception who immediately checked the pool locker and kindly called me back to inform me that he had found it. Steve offered to meet me at the railway station some 15 miles away and I took the train down, and he was able to return my watch to me in person. This watch holds particular sentimental value, as my two brothers and I all own the same model. I am therefore extremely grateful for Steve’s honesty, efficiency, and kindness. I would like to commend The Mole Resort for employing such a trustworthy and dedicated member of staff. Steve Parfitt is truly a credit their organisation, and they and the guests are very fortunate to have someone of his calibre on their team. This reflects very well on the Mole resort. I would just like to add the the pool and sauna facilities of "The Mole" are outstanding - as are their honest efficient staff. "
