"There is hotel parking but it is a tight fit if you arrive late. Didn’t use the dining facilities as there are better options in the town"

"An overnight dtay for the Hay festival. The first time i have stayed at a B&B in over 40years. OML how wonderful my stay was, fabulous hosts Fiona and James plus the gorgeous dogs'! Super room, very comfortable and everything one could wish for. Such attention to detail. The breakfast which was a 'full English' was the best breakfast i have had in a very long time, with all either home made or locally sourced. Fiona's granola with yoghurt and berries so very tasty. A beautiful home. All superb....

"Proprietors Kathleen & David are what make this property unique. A very warm welcome, excellent cooked breakfasts and great area knowledge. The room (Market View) was excellent. Quiet and cosy. The location is brilliant for canal walks, Pen Y Fan (we had a car), and the broader Brecon area. Plenty of excellent restaurants in the local area for evening meals. We enjoyed the Brecon Tap, Hills (best burgers ever !) , and the Three Horseshoes Inn for a proper Sunday lunch. "

"I would give it 10 out of 10 and rather wish we had our last night here rather than our first night as where are staying now feels very mediocre compared to the New Red Lion. We will definitely return. Everything was superb. "

"Quite possibly one of the nicest Guesthouses I have ever stayed in. the owners are qualified chefs and you can tell - breakfast s are amazing , in terms of choice , portions and quality Lynda has like a very interesting life and most happy to share a lot of her adventures I could I listen to her for ages! Exceptional location right by the train station. Most comfortable pillows ever. Really felt like one of the family would definitely return again thank you both for having us. X"

"Thank you for our lovely stay. We just came back from our 2nights stay and the place is absolutely stunning and would highly recommend. Rooms perfect with en suite and views when sat outside were amazing. Loved watching the red kites . Central to all walking spots and hosts were friendly and nothing wasnt too much trouble for them. "A comfortable and enjoyable stay. Room was clean comfortably and so cosy! We were made to feel so welcomed and they kindly accommodated a veggie breakfast for us. The breakfast was lovely with fresh foods and lots of local produce to choose from. We even got a tour of the place! Would highly recommend a stay here. "

"Two male cyclists in twin room. Fantastic place to stay. Steven was great for local knowledge. Lovely Welsh charm about the house. Clean, great breakfast. Beautiful garden with views to sit in. We sat in garden with a beer after a day on the trails. Highly recommend"
