"Lovely hotel with character but the floors were very creaky and noisy and we were woken up Friday morning at 5am with somebody in the room above us just walking back and forth. Rooms and bar area lovely, food very nice and Staff very helpful. Very clean hotel. "

"Rooms are very very dated and ours smelt nasty! No net curtains all way round bay window and over looked a roundabout. No rubber on shower screen so water went all over the bathroom. Definitely not 4 star! Breakfast was good & meet and greet member of staff very jolly. Pool looked good too but didn’t use. "

"Comfy room with extra pillows on the bed was wonderful. Nice toiletries provided and I especially appreciated conditioner for hair. "

"I wasnt a fan of the overuse of air freshner in the room. It was overpowering. Generally, the room was looking a bit tired. The staff were very nice and worked hard to make the stay pleasant. Dinner was good."
