"This is a first class hotel. I returned for my second time in 2 years. Great location--just outside Obertsdorf. Outstanding restaurant. You know it's top notch when it is full of Germans looking for a hiking/biking get away location. Service is excellent. Rooms are spacious and clean. Highly recommended as an authentic mountain retreat with fantastic trails and lifts to the upper peaks. I will return again next year."

"This is a perfect, traditional German inn. For us the atmosphere was perfect and had lots of personality. The included breakfast was great. We had one evening meal at Nebelhornblick which was excellent. The evening menu was the most varied we had during our stay in Germany. I noted one reviewer complained that no-one in the hotel spoke fluent English but as this is Germany I did not presume that they had to speak "my" language.
