Very pleased with our room which had a really comfortable bed and great power shower, both of which are, in our opinion, essential to a relaxing stay. The Plough is only 12 miles from Cromer and norfolk coast which makes it a great base to explore the lovely coastline and norfolk broads. "The room was exceptionally spacious and full of character. Many hotels are a bit soulless but this is far from the case here. The staff were professional, friendly and always with a smile. I've seen a few reviews have commented on 'hidden charges' - breakfast isn't included but this is clear from the very start and there's no pressure to eat here in the morning. If you do, however, the food is excellent (we had dinner) and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"Excellent stay of two nights. A good countryside location but within easy distance of Fakenham, Wells, Hunstanton and Thursford. The room was very cosy well appointed very comfortable bed, clean bathroom nice bath and shower. Breakfast was very good and well cooked had the full english one day and eggs benedict that was great. Eloise was very friendly and attentive. Had a great stay."
