"The staff were really friendly and helpful. The golf buggy taking us from the beach house to the main hotel was great for my elderly mum. Room was spacious and airy and had a lovely terrace.
Food in the pizzeria was mediocre- had to send cold and dry pasta dish back - but the food in the brasserie was excellent and breakfasts were lovely!"

Garden could have been lovely but lots of tired looking furniture. Breakfast good, good selection, and served at the table. All in all not worth the very expensive price we paid and would not stay again."

Let down by tiny tv & silly early book out time of 10.30am. Charged an extra £25 to book out at 12 having already paid £493 for 3 nights.

"Just stayed here last week very easy to find plenty parking. Check in straight forward the young man very friendly. Some minor faults with rooms. We had 2 rooms . Both kettles in rooms had bad limescale so never used them .the teabags looked like they had just been thrown in a pile on the dresser Bathroom towel instead of being white had a massive blue stain on .bed sheet was dirty. .you could hear the traffic outside but to be expected as on main road. I think for value for money...
"Very comfortable with an excellent spa and pool. Breakfast is amazing. We regularly book here as a base for runs on the North York Moors and it works brilliantly. The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to make everything work for early start."
"Me and my partner Ross stayed at The Cornmill last saturday and we both had a pleasent experience, Karen is very welcoming & accomodating and all round a lovely person. The room we stayed in was immaculate aswell and to top it all off, breakfast was absolutely superb!
