"Room was in very bad condition stains on the ceiling and walls, furniture and doors falling to pieces and unsafe also no sockets we had booked a superior room and it looked nothing like the pictures. The food however was great and the staff were very nice the outside pool area and animation team were also fantastic. The location was perfect right on the beach and next to the square with a beautiful walk into Puerto del Carmen over all an ok hotel if they had the rooms upgraded it would be fab."

"Great time had. Their greatest asset is their staff. All warm and welcoming. Couldn’t do enough for you. Remembered me and my drink preference from a year ago! Don’t know how to they do it. Food options were more limited this time. But more space for more guests. Still excellent food though. Room was lovely. Very comfortable beds and spacious. Grounds very clean. Very clean through out. "I enjoyed a 5 night break at Sands. A little apprehensive due to several negative reviews however my experience was very positive. The rooms are a good size and have everything you need including full fridge freezer and dishwasher. The entire complex is very clean and is thoughtfully laid out. I enjoyed the lane swimming and the surrounding area is perfect for running. I also used the gym several times. Shops and restaurants are within a 5-10 minute walk. "Lovely clean apartment with everything we needed! Breakfast was plentiful and freshly cooked with helpful staff. Pool area were nice and the lower sundeck away from the pool was lovely with big double sunbeds and very quiet. Great location as 5 min walk from old town and shopping area with Zara etc Would definitely stay here again. Only slight disappointment was the evening meal options but didn’t affect us as we preferred to eat out but tried it once as had half board but wasn’t very good."
