"First time at Malmaison with 2 small dogs. Room was a suite and only had booked a standard double room. Absolutely beautiful with bath and Jack and Jill shower facilities and sinks. Extra room to side with circular couch bed and flat screen TV . Staff very helpful. Unable to take dogs into Brasserie restaurant but are in for stairs bar and food brought to table. But more difficult at breakfast but eventually after explaining unable to up and down lift with breakfast we were allowed to sit in...

"All the staff very extremely helpful and professional. We stayed in the gatehouse with our dog which was ideal. Our only issues were the works required in the bathroom, there has obviously been a leek at some point the wall paper is coming away and the ceiling is stained, the tiles on the on the shower floor are loose and could cause an injury."

"Great cost vs benefits. Close to the University. Had dinner and breakfast on-site and really enjoyed the view and food. Bar had a nice ambiance and service, too. Highly recommend."
