"It was our family's second time at ANEW RESORT Hunters Rest, and it outdid the first time which was great! Again, we had a family birthday being celebrated, and we were greeted by Thabang at reception with a message from the staff. Room was clean and comfortable and looked out onto the water hole - saw a lot of game - which was a great bonus. Nice bath tub. Restaurant food selection and preparation was of a good standard. "This is a one of a kind hotel. I mean, who can say they have stayed in a castle. The rooms are really well done and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The food at the onsite restaurant was really good. Only negative of this hotel is that they don't have either a pool or a gym. Not much to do if you want to spend some time lazing around."

"Cabbage tree cottage at stone hill was clean and comfortable, king size bed and the kitchen was very well stocked with appliances. Thoughtful touches for the pets with a secure garden for them. A lovely quiet and peaceful place for a relaxing weekend away."
