"Though the hotel isn’t new and the facilities are somewhat worn, the location could not be better — everything is nearby. A shopping complex with a Starbucks and food court is right next door. Still, the hotel’s greatest asset is its staff.
Our first room reeked of cigarette smoke, despite the hotel being completely smoke‑free. We called the front desk, and staff swiftly moved us to a new room and assisted with our luggage.
The concierge team delivered great service as well. Tank and other...
"The location of hotel is good. However, the picture of this hotel in the website is so different that the actual hotel itself. It’s in a small alley and outside looks dated. However , the lobby and rooms are modern and good condition.
One thing that bothers me the most is the wall is very thin, you can hear everything from your neighbor, like TV sound, snoring , talking ..,. Etc."
"It was not to Sofitel standards, I was expecting more, cleaner room and better food. Only hotel in our China visit that charged us for in room water bottles! And initial deposit was more than our room fee! For foreigners this is not good, as double exchanges rates on credit cards charges a lot."
"The location is very convenient, with easy access to the city's main attractions. The room was spacious, clean, and came with complimentary bottled water. Most importantly, the staff were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. One of the front desk staff members, whose last name is Zhao, provided excellent recommendations for transportation and must-see attractions. His helpful advice saved me a lot of time and made my trip much more enjoyable."
"Here’s a polished version that keeps it natural and useful for other international travelers:
American traveler here. I stayed at this hotel for three nights and really enjoyed my stay. The staff was outstanding—very friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. Several of the receptionists at the front desk also spoke very good English, which made everything especially easy as an international traveler.
The rooms were quite spacious, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was modern with a...
"The beds when booking a 2 bed room are twins. We upgraded when my husband arrived and the beds were too small. I slept on the floor the last night as we got in late from Mt hua and had a 6am pick up. I needed sleep, so the floor it was. No time to change. Also, the pool closed for renovations. This is good as its an amazing pool and the reason I go there. Need bigger queen beds"
"Hotel bello, pulito, stanza ampia colazione perfetta fatta all istante, forse un po lontano dalla metro ma con didi o taxi a poco prezzo giri la città, straconsigliato"
"The reason why we picked this hotel was due to the location and it did not fail. This hotel is located conveniently near restaurants and the Muslim quarters.
The staff at the hotel was very professional and kind, even with the language barrier. We used a translator app with no issues.
We picked a two bed room and we were given the room with a kids play area (traveling with no kids). We didn’t mind at all. We cared about the space and the cleanliness. Which this hotel was perfect for that.
The...
"Proximity to most of the iconic places. Convenient location, good breakfast and clean rooms, but the shower was extremely hot, was not able to adjust the knob to get warm water."
"The room and overall hotel was clean, they were not clear on the laundry service and we were charged a ridiculous amount for our laundry to be serviced. We simply asked for a gist of how long it would take in a certain time. And no communication was returned until our bill was expected. Almost $300."
