"This hotel is in a great location for walking around the historic area of Madrid. We did a couple of tours and they were easy to reach on foot from the hotel. We spent a few hours at the pool several afternoons after our tours, which was a nice break. The pool area was quite busy and there is not a lot of shade, so that was a bit of a negative for us. We had lunch on the rooftop one day and the food was decent (Caesar salad and pulled pork brioche), but not nearly as good as the food at the restaurants and tapas bars nearby (convenient to the pool though!) The staff was very helpful during our stay, answering our questions and helping with anything we needed. I will say that apart from the lack of shady lounge chairs, the only negative at the hotel was banging pipes! The first time it happened we thought they were doing construction in the room next door, but it lasted 30-60 seconds and it was quiet again! All in all it was a very pleasant stay in Madrid."

"Everything was good, staff was very helpful, hotel is in a good condition. I would like to add a few notes to help it become even better. 1. In our room there was a cat pee smell in the bathroom. 2. Pillows were super stiff - as a result we couldn't get a good night rest. 3. Side note - I would highly recommend to put some kettlebells in the gym - they don't take much space, yet provide a great workout. Thank you!"

"Lovely hotel, ideal for the Madrid stadium, just 15 min walk away. Great room for the price. Only disappointment was that i received an email from the hotel leading up to my stay and the week of to say the pool is not in use. On arrival we were told the pool was open and we could use it, a little annoying as we could have brought our swimming stuff but didn’t."

"The hostel was lovely, we stayed in the three bed bedroom which came with fresh towels for both face and body, 4 hangers, a bin, a pull up table and chair, a TV, AC and two bedside tables. I think there were about 3 outlets in the room, two by the bed and one by the table. Our room was situated just next to the mixed bathroom which had two large showers (with a citrus scented body wash), two sinks (with one hair dryer) and two toilets. There are also men only and women only bathrooms on the other floors. There is also a laundry room which was 3€/4€ to wash and dry per machine as well as a luggage room which had lockers if needed. During our stay we went for breakfast included which was served from 8am-11am. Breakfast had three choices of cereals, whole milk, lactose free milk, oat milk, mini baguette breads, mini croissants, mini pain au chocolate, selection of hams and cheese, scrambled eggs, quiche and sausages, spreads like butter and jams, yoghurts, teas, hot chocolate and coffeee. (Think that’s pretty much it) The common area has adequate seats and is never really too busy, it comes with a fridge which u can use and label ur food. There is also games and such provided in the common room. Room cleaning is every 3 days and bathrooms are cleaned what seems to be 2x a day. There is free WiFi and no noise between 10pm-9am, along with other general rules such as no smoking and no guests etc. All in all, our stay felt more like a hotel with a shared bathroom instead. Nice!"

"Nice city hotel… good rooms, quiet, clean and tidy and fairly good size. Staff mostly friendly, a couple of less helpful or less friendly experiences - particularly the inside bar area. Outdoor pool very cold and a massive fight for sunloungers each day if it’s sunny… nowhere near enough for the number of guests. Breakfast is pleasant though not a huge range. Eggs cooked to order were good though a queue forms at busier times. Coffee is from a machine and average. For the rest of the day there is only a limited food range from the bar, though what they have is quite nice. No restaurant beyond that. Location wise, easy to get to by train from the airport. Not a huge amount near it, and longer than you’d realise from the map getting into the centre of the city and popular tourist spots. Nonetheless, we did enjoy our stay and would consider going again for the right price."
