"Everything about Mill Lodge was exceptional. From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. Special breakfast to die for. Great bed, ensuite, walks on the river and quaint town. You will love staying here."
"Great location to stay with a dog; dog allowed in front area of restaurant; plenty of dog bowls available and brown towel for dog in the room; nice walk along the river.
Great food and service "
"Wagon was in a lovely location on a farm and owner was very nice, once I managed to find the farm , but checking in time or instructions would have been helpful .
Bed was comfortable and I did appreciate the tea, sugar and milk provided , but the room itself was quite cold -with one tiny inadequate heater .
Bathroom was also very cold and smelled very damp and unfortunately the toilet seat was loose and shooting off to one side.

"The grounds of the Mae’s Manor are beautiful. The staff were friendly. The hotel itself is very dated and in need of new paint and furniture. Our shower had no pressure and some mold. The towels and sheets were nice and clean though."

"I found the staff to be very friendly, helpful and professional. This was my second stay at hotel and is my hotel of choice now when I'm in the area for business."
"Really great hotel. Friendly staff and easy check in. The hotel should be more up front about the £12 per night parking charge at booking rather than on arrival. "
"I stayed for 2 nights for a convention at the ICC in August 2025. The location was really convenient - just a 5 minute drive on the M4 and was excellent value.
Free on site parking when I arrived.
Staff were very helpful and friendly. Extra tea and coffee provided as soon as I asked etc.
My room was small but had everything I needed and it was absolutely immaculate.
I was very impressed overall and would definitely stay here again."
