Beautiful Casita

This property is terrific! Quiet and beautiful with a view of the Chama River. The bedrooms were comfortable, the outdoor area was just lovely. The private hot tub is a plus. Great stay!

Extra Special Casita

We came for an artists workshop. It was so nice wake up each morning to the beauty of this property and come back to relax in the evenings after a long day of painting. Really lovely light filled casita. Everything about it is wonderful: comfy furniture and beds, high quality bedding and towels, well-stocked kitchen, sweet outdoor space, and beautiful views with the Chama River right out the door. Very accommodating and responsive hosts. Thanks for a wonderfully nurturing experience!

Casita getaway

Great place to stay. Outstanding views. Dog friendly with plenty of room for a dog to run, under supervision, with access to the Chama river for retrieving fun. Really enjoyed the stay here!

Lovely casita and beautiful location & views

This is a great casita, well stocked and very very comfortable. It has numerous place to sit outside and enjoy the view and the river running. Tami was a wonderful host and Lola, their pup is very sweet and friendly. I plan on returning!!

Absolutely Lovely!

Wonderful location and beautiful casita on the Chama River. Needed for nothing - seriously - Tammy and Jeff created an absolute oasis for the guests. We loved the coffee; the layout of the casita was so simple - AND - totally perfect. I enjoyed the mornings down on the river so very much - watching all of the wildlife and birds. Our dog was with us and she loved it too. Especially exploring the area around our casita. I recommend this property with the utmost confidence. We will definitely be back if we are invited! Wonderful stay

We were there for a few days in January. Some snow and cold, so we very much enjoyed fireplace, hot tub and beautiful landscape. Hosts made sure everything was as advertised. Would definitely return!

Lovely stay!

Tami and Jeff promptly responded to all my questions. The check-in instructions were seamless. The house was clean and pleasant, with very comfortable beds and linens. The kitchen was well equipped. We liked the induction stove which was easy to use. We were a party of 4 and there were plenty of plates, bowls and mugs. The refrigerator was a nice size, with ample room in the refrigerator and the freezer. The hot tub was amazing: offered beautiful views of the surrounding natural landscape and the water temperature was perfect. The outdoor seating was relaxing with great views of the Chama River and the endless big sky. We even saw a herd of elk splashing in the river! I highly recommend this vacation home.

Perfectly situated with stunning beauty all around!

This is the perfect place to enjoy the spectacular landscapes the area has to offer. The home is beatifully decorated and well stocked from dishes, seasonings and cookware to incredibly comfortable beds. The fireplace was warm and cozy and hottub very relaxing! Best of all it drew us out to explore Abiquiu, a town I may have notexplored as our origunal destination was Santa Fe. If you are considering this Casita I say go for it! You will not be disappointed.

Lovely place

Tami and Jeff were wonderful hosts with their cozy casita., which had everything we needed. The views from the casita were stunning and peaceful. Getting to the sights nearby was easy, especially with the information provided in their welcome letter. Will return to stay at the casita again.

A little bit of paradise

Abiqui, NM is a stunningly beautiful area - and the Viento del Rio is, too. Situated on the Chama River, the casita has just about everything one would need for a perfect getaway. Sitting by the fire - either inside or out - is the epitome of relaxing. And the stars at night - one almost feels like you can reach out and touch them.

Ideal getaway in Abiquiu

This casita was a perfect place for a weekend getaway exploring the Abiquiu area. If you are looking for a quiet, serene, beautiful place to relax, this house checks all the boxes. The casita sits on a beautiful property on the Charma river, and the hosts have created an oasis that really feels special. We appreciated the little touches to make the casita comfortable and charming. The hosts were very responsive and helpful with advice for enjoying the surrounding area. We would love to return.

A Superb stay, a Beautiful Casita with a Wonderful view...Rio Chama and the wildlife...we saw a herd of elk, each elk passed by one at a time, flocks of ducks and geese. Our hosts Tami and Jeff, and their greeter Lola were very friendly.

Plenty of stupendous 360 degree views!

You know what they say about 'location.' Well this was a perfect one for us, near to Abiquiu favorites like Bodes and Ghost Ranch. The accommodations were as reported, and then plenty of added amenities. Our hosts were most helpful and if it wasn't already provided willing to provide the needed item.

The casita was very much as described in the listing. Jeff and Tami were very gracious and Jeff even brought over an Apple phone charger that we had forgotten. The environment was very peaceful and enjoyable. We will hopefully stay here again!
