This home is in the ideal location for a family holiday. Just a short walk to beautiful Maslin Beach with its crystal waters and white sands. The property has sea views from both levels. Enjoy the summer evenings with a BBQ and glass of local wine on the balcony. The property has 4 bedrooms: Bedroom 1 is upstairs with a Queen bed and Split System cooling/heating, B.I.R and ensuite. Bedroom 2 has queen bed with B.I.R. Bedroom 3 has queen bed and cupboard. Bedroom 4 has 2 single beds (from April 2020) and a cupboard.

Come and relax in this beautiful home or discover this district which is full of surprises. Its close enough for a day trip drive down the Fleurieu Peninsula, to the McLaren Vale Wineries restaurants or Goolwa via Port Elliot or Victor Harbor. Even Kang aroo Island isnt far away.

Perfect Beach Stay

The house is a good size and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. There is a great view of the sea and a spacious deck, which we enjoyed sitting out on to watch the sunset. We are already making plans to return.

Lovely weekend away

We had a great time at this property, which exceeded any expectations, having fantastic views from its balcony and great internal facilities. It was plenty large enough to comfortably accomodate a group of adults. 5 stars from us

Seaviews

Homely accommodation providing all the essentials for a relaxing, comfortable destination for exploring McLaren Vale's excellent wineries, beaches and forest areas. A short walk from the house to Maslin beach with its impressive fitness equipment was a bit of a treat. Thank you to the hosts for always being a phone call away if needed.

Perfect for a little getaway

Perfect for a short weekend away with friends. Beautiful view, the weather wasn't great, but we had an event on so didn't spend too much time in the house.

Perfect family holiday

Our holiday was just what we needed.. we have stayed here before and love the views of the ocean, amazing beach for swimming, walking, building sand castles with grandchildren and perfect for the dog! We all had the best relaxing times with all of our needs met at this amazing rental. I have booked again for next year.

Great coastal getaway

Perfect place for a getaway. Close to the beautiful beach. Close to McLaren Vale and plenty of nice spots to eat. Very peaceful. Great views from the property and everything you need for an enjoyable stay.

Great family weekend - with one drawback!

Our family of nine adults were very excited to be spending some time together, and booked Kiltevna for a weekend catch up. The house and surrounds looked perfect for us. We weren't looking for luxury, just comfort with room to relax and spend time together. Online photos (on this and other booking sites) showed 3 double bedrooms and one bed room with 2 bunk beds. It was listed as sleeping 10, and so would fit the 9 of us comfortably. We then booked for 9, possibly 10 people, and the booking was accepted for that number of guests. Unfortunately, when the first couple arrived, they found only 2 single beds in the 4th bedroom. We immediately called the booking agent who told us the home had been changed to two single beds instead of bunks earlier in the year, but somehow hadn't been communicated in the listing. The person we spoke to was very friendly and sympathetic and spoke to his manager, but they said they could do nothing about it. We have not been contacted further regarding this either, nor offered any compensation, which is disappointing. Because of that, one of the family had to drive a 2 1/2 hour round trip to collect a spare mattress from home to sleep on the floor. This was not ideal and put a dampener on the start of our weekend. The actual house was lovely with a great kitchen, and the balcony views were beautiful. The surrounding gardens and yard were very pleasant. I see the bunk bed photos in the listing have been removed but it now shows 5 bedrooms, one with two extra single beds?? There are definitely only 4 bedrooms sleeping 8 people. Hopefully that will be corrected soon as it's very confusing. All in all it was a wonderful family weekend, and I would definitely recommend the property but with the proviso that the listing details be clarified.

Needs attention

The property is well situated to the beach and can accommodate a family and friends. However, the lounges MUST be replaced. It's ridiculous having such UNCOMFORTABLE couches when buying new ones at IKEA would be so inexpensive. The current couches are so old and worn to almost be called disgusting. AND to charge an exorbitant amount for cleaning is an obscene rip-off.
