"Unfortunately, I found the hotel to offer questionable value for money. At over €200 per night, I expected a much higher standard and better attention to detail. The hotel feels dated in places, particularly the very old lift, and there were several issues in the room, including a broken bathroom bin, an awkward toilet paper dispenser, and an old, noisy door with visible signs of damp. The mattress transmitted even the slightest movement, which made for a disturbed night's sleep. The hotel is located on a busy road, and traffic noise was noticeable throughout the stay. For the price point, I was also surprised that the room did not include a safe or a minibar/fridge. Breakfast was good, but the selection for vegetarians was quite limited. The biggest disappointment, however, was that I had arranged decorations at the breakfast table to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday. This had been promised in advance but unfortunately did not materialise, which was particularly disappointing given the occasion. Overall, the hotel's location was excellent, but the overall experience did not justify the price charged."

"The gym, pool, spa is under construction. There are close to zero amenities at the moment. Only a bedroom with a few machines posing as a gym, and the bar. I can imagine this hotel is great when amenities are offered. Without, the price is not justified at all. The lack of amenities was not clear when we booked, and we regretted spending a high price per night for the current offering. "

"Very clean, quiet and well equipped. 5min walk to supermarket and a couple of dining options (restaurant in the Bayerische Hof is good). 45min drive to Munich. Check-in a bit weird as others have mentioned - after a couple of failed self-checkin attempts we went to the Bayerische Hof reception (5min walk) and they checked in there."
