KAMENOI HOTEL NIKKO YUNISHIGAWA ALL-INCLUSIVE RESORT
10/10 Excellent
"Really fun place for a relaxing getaway especially to socialize with your close friends or significant others. There is not much to do in the area unless you have a car."
"I feel this is one of the best hotels and was my families favorite hotel of our trip to Japan. I love the private pools and the complete environment of this hotel, location in the woods, by a river, quiet and peaceful. "
"I think very few gaijin go this far out. Some of the communication was difficult but the staff tried really hard and we enjoyed the stay
Hard to navigate getting to and from major stations and it snowed one day at end of March
Overall I’m glad we did it for the experience to be immersed in Japanese culture.

"We had a very relaxing family holiday here. There were hardly any other guests when we stayed, and it was almost like having a private resort. The restaurant staff made us two lovely dinners and breakfasts, the first dinner was an intricate kaiseki spread, and the second was delicious grilled steak. Breakfast had plenty of options for both Japanese and Western style meals. The lounge area provided all the drinks and snacks and cup noodles we wanted, and we had a very nice walk around, and up into a snowy area by the river. It was nice to relax in our own private onsen tubs whenever we liked. The surrounding town is pretty quiet, and we didn’t have much time to explore it, but the river and woods are very beautiful. "
"The worst experience for check in as they messed up our booking - wrong unit number and code were informed, and it was for another Rakuten stay, not this facility!
The facility is new, a huge living & dining area compare to Nasu where we stayed a year ago.
Too many huge bugs in the balcony, lots were dead already but not cleaned… narrow parking area and the aisle "
