Top Alamo Hotel Reviews
Hyatt Place San Francisco Downtown
8/10 Good
"Great location, just about a block from Oracle park, we walked to the game in 5 min, bars and restaurants around as well. Clean rooms, nice patio and great included breakfast. If we had any complaints it is that our room was very small, and we were there on a pretty hot weekend and the windows don’t open and you couldn’t make it cooler in the room. Other than that it was great, and we will probably be back one day."
Executive Inn & Suites Embarcadero Cove
8/10 Good
"Clean, good breakfast and nice staff."
The Marina Inn on San Francisco Bay
10/10 Excellent
"The room was clean, the sheets were clean, the bed was comfortable. The breakfast they offered was varied - waffles, donuts, bagels, fresh fruit and the best coffee! We would definitely return there."
Claremont Resort & Club
10/10 Excellent
"Loved it all. The bar the pool and espresso martini ! Great room staff everything"
Hotel Triton Union Square San Francisco
8/10 Good
"The hotel itself was nice and well maintained, and overall we were very happy with our stay. The location was excellent and conveniently close to everything we wanted to visit. The only drawbacks were that the breakfast selection was fairly limited and remained the same each day, and the motion-sensor bathroom light was frustrating because it would turn off while we were showering. Aside from those minor issues, we had a very enjoyable experience."
Grant Plaza Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Grant Plaza Hotel is my go-to when the city isn’t too busy. I stay here quite a lot, especially when I’m in the city for work, so the staff knows me by now. It’s affordable, the staff is awesome, and I always feel welcome here. It was one of the hottest days of the year, and I really didn’t want to go back home, so I booked a room within minutes. This time around, I actually arrived at the hotel at a decent hour! They even asked if I needed a quiet room. Of course, I said, “Yes, please!” It’s little touches like these that make me come back. There is always someone at the front desk, so if you are out late they will buzz you in. The housekeepers are very welcoming too and always make a point to say hello. It really gives the hotel a friendly, familiar feel. One tip: bring your favorite lotion and conditioner. They do provide soap and a shampoo/conditioner combo, but the two-in-one doesn’t work particularly well with my hair. Overall, Grant Plaza Hotel is one of the best inexpensive hotels in the city."
Sonesta Emeryville - San Francisco Bay Bridge
10/10 Excellent
"If you parked a car, when checking out, keep your room key and turn it in after leaving the parking area so that you are able to scan yourself out."
Hyatt Regency San Francisco Downtown SOMA
8/10 Good
"The bathroom was ok except the water when you shower the water is not draining well! Staff was so so, we didn’t have breakfast at the hotel, parking was ok."
