Villa Farol OCV - Ocean Front

Come and enjoy this beautiful villa near the sandy beach of Salgados.

Casa do Farol is a fantastic isolated villa with capacity for 6 people, with 3 bedrooms with double beds, which 2 have en suite bathrooms.

The comfortable and spacious living room has direct access to the garden and the swimming pool, and a dining area.

You can also do sunbathing in the generous garden with an amazing sea view from every angle.

Casa do Farol is ideally located, at the distance of a 2 minutes walk you have the beach of Galé and Salgados, which are literally in front of the villa.

The fine supermarket Apolonia, famous coffee shops, restaurants and bars are only a few minutes away walking.

Casa do Farol is ideal for those who want to park the car and enjoy a relaxing holiday, or take our suggestion and walk through the Salgados Lagoon, or maybe you can just play golf in the Salgados Golf Course just a few minutes away.

There is a variety of, water-parks and marinas/zoos for the children.

Watersports on the beaches, horse-riding and the most wonderful walking country all within easy reach.

The Algarve Shopping and famous restaurants for the Chicken Piri-Piri are only 8/10 minutes drive.





The Municipality of Albufeira charges a tourist tax of €2 per person, per night of stay, for all guests aged 13 or older, during the period from April 1st to October 31st, with a maximum of seven consecutive nights. This amount will be paid directly to the Municipality a few days before arrival and is not included in the quotes generated on our website, so we kindly ask you to take this into consideration.

Pleasant Stay

Overal it was a great experience. Communication with the manager was flawless. The house is walking distance to the beach and has an amazing view. Kitchen is nice size and has all the amenities you need for a group stay. They also have a nice laundry area with washing machine. Not giving 5 star rating due to: The pool is ok, we had two babys with us so the fact that the pool doesn't have a low dept zone in one of the ends it made a bit harder to enjoy. We caught a heat wave and the house doesn't have air-conditioning.

Villa was very well stocked and well managed. Area was noisy at night and with windows open, a little difficult to get sleep sometimes. Management left a nice gift box which helped us the first day - very nice of them.

Lovely Villa

Great communication throughout, thank you. Villa described as Beach Front Location, although it’s about 5 properties from the beachfront. The villa is by the side of a car park & unfortunately there was a lot of car racing going on in the car park after midnight. The pool is very deep each end, I am 5’8” & couldn’t stand up in the pool, therefore completely unsuitable for children that cannot swim as it’s not fenced off. Cooker hob gave some challenges as none of us could work it out & couldn’t find any instructions. Amazing Pizza Restaurant right next door. Easy walk to Galé Beach. Would I return? Yes but without small children. This isn’t a complaint as we had a lovely week, thank you again.

Celebrating 60

Lovely home with enough space that we were comfortable. We ate every meal outside at the large dining table. The view of the ocean is amazing, especially at sunset.

Schön gelegen

Alles einfach geregelt: Zugang zum Ferienhaus, Reinigung des Pools, Wechsel der Wäsche. Alles gut und genügend ausgestattet für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Lediglich die Waschmaschine verdient eine Wartung, es rumpelt im Schleudergang gefährlich.

Séjour Parfait !

Nous avons passé un séjour vraiment très agréable. La description de la maison était similaire à la réalité, nous avons même pu profiter d'un barbecue qui n'était pas prévu initialement. La maison est très agréable. Nous n'avons manqué de rien. La plage magnifique se trouve à quelques mètres à pieds. L'environnement est très agréable. Le lien avec la société ABRITEL fut très correct, cette société nous a donné de bons conseils. Ce fut un séjour parfait. La maison était très propre le ménage a même été réalisé au milieu de notre séjour, ce fut très appréciable. Nous avons l'habitude de louer des maisons à l'étranger mais je pense que celle ci arrive en numéro 1. La piscine nettoyée tous les 2 jours par un jardinier était fort agréable et très rafraichissante. Nous avons été ravis de notre séjour.

Estadia com bastantes precalços

A casa é agradável (principalmente o espaço exterior) e está muito bem localizada (5min a pé da praia). Contudo, várias coisas correram menos bem: -dia da chegada, check in suposto ser às 16h. casa só ficou disponivel às 17h15 porque antes estava a decorrer limpeza -a casa tem 3 wcs. contudo, em horas de ponta (de manhã e ao final do dia), as duas wcs do piso superior não têm água. para quem tem crianças pequenas e a casa totalmente ocupada, é uma situação bastante desagradável. acresce que num dos dias nem na casa de banho havia água... -um dos quartos tinha uma porta que dava acesso a uma varanda que estava avariada, não permitindo o acesso nem arejar o quarto (principalmente à noite, para refrescar). ficaram de arranjar na 2a semana. não foram lá, nem deram qualquer justificação -um dos dias, um dos fornecedores da casa fez alguma alteração que não nos informou. quando chegámos ao final da tarde, tinhamos o quadro eletrico constantemente a disparar ao longo de 1h, até que acabámos por desligar o disjuntor da piscina

Coisas a rever

Otima localização. Cozinha bem apetrechada de utensilios. Coisas a rever: agua com pouca pressão para tomar duche e termoacumulador devia ser maior para ter mais agua quente disponível. Se 5 pessoaa tomarem banho seguido alguém fica com água fria. Giardasol apoio partido assim como base do mesmo. Devia ter ar condicionado. Ja fiquei em variaa casas desse loteamento e esta foi a pior.

Fantastic well equipped villa in a stunning location.

This villa is in a super location overlooking Gale beach and even whilst sitting in the large well stocked garden there was always plenty to see. The property was very clean and tidy on our arrival and the directions to it and instructions for entry etc were great. The kitchen was stocked with enough cutlery and crockery for 10 people and we found an array of cooking utensils and gadgets that would put our own kitchen to shame. The bedrooms also had lots of extra blankets in them ensuring that if it was a little chilly at night you could stay warm ( we stayed in mid October). Although there were only 3 adults in our entire group there would definitely be enough room to accommodate 7 comfortably. The villa had a lovely homely feel, and because it is located in a peaceful area we all had a very relaxing time. There is a very good restaurant within 20 meters of the front door and we visited it twice. There are several other restaurants within easy walking distance including the Michelin starred Villa Joya. I would however recommend that car hire is a must as Albufeira is 5 miles away as are the towns of Guia and Armacao de Pera . We had a fantastic holiday at this villa and could not fault anything about it. O.C. Villas are the managing company and they were outstanding to deal with from start to finish. We will definitely return to this villa and our intention is to do so more than once.
