Activities include skiing, snowboarding, hiking, mountain climbing, snow-shoeing, horseback riding (winter too!), ice climbing, fishing, hunting, rafting, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, mine exploration, canoeing, kayaking, and much much more.

Our adult family of 6 had a relaxing week at Heavenly Homestead. The house is comfortable and has most anything you need for a stay. And the view is to die for.
Clean and house had everything we needed for our stay.
Beautiful Mountain view!
House is close to several towns. Hot tub was great! Would stay again.

Amazing view
We have never been to Colorado and this cabin was amazing for our first visit. Cabin was well stocked with everything we needed and it was clean and comfortable. It was the best hot tub we have ever used & we have used a lot. The view out of the living room was breathtaking.
Beautiful, private cabin in secluded Colorado forest
My family and I had a wonderful stay at this cabin. The view was amazing, the location is quiet and peaceful. Kitchen was stocked with everything you need, hot tub was lovely, and the kids loved hanging out in the loft. Extremely clean and well maintained house and property. I'd definitely go back!
This was such an awesome stay, we absolutely loved it! We saw 4 moose, including a huge bull moose on our last morning! They go right by the property, there were 2 right off the driveway one morning even. The views and vibe are incredible, we want to book again!
It was the perfect quiet getaway my husband and I were looking for. The cabin was spotless and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

Relaxing
My group and I loved this cabin. We would buy it if we could. The property is beautiful and centrally located from Alma and Fairplay. Additionally it's roughly a 30 minute drive from Breckenridge. We enjoyed the fireplace and the outdoor hot tub on some cold, snowy days. We also got a lot of use out of the grill. Definitely should bring a a 4x4 or hardy allwheel drive vehicle, as the road is steep and can get pretty muddy after a rain or snow.

5 - Excellent
I was there with a few old friends on a ski/snowboard weekend.
This home is clean and very cozy.
We didn't want for anything.
Loved watching the sunrise over the mountains while drinking coffee and the sunsets from the back porch while sitting in jacuzzi after a full day of skiing!
While we didn't see a moose we had one visit us both days as we could see the prints in freshly fallen snow! Would definitely recommend this place for a group of friends or family.
Thank you!
Loved the location and comfort.
It didn't seem the property was quite ready for us. Gas grill but no lighter. No wood for fireplace "first fire". No light bulbs in main floor lamp. Instructions for TV incorrect.
Property Mgmt company responded promptly to requests and we enjoyed our stay.

Heavenly Homestead
It was our first trip to Colorado, thanks to the recommendation of my oldest son who was there with his wife for their honeymoon. While we wanted to relax, we also dreamed of skiing and other adventures. So, we could see the stunning (paradisiacal) views through the windows or walk and play around this cozy property: these were days full of charm and adventure for our family.
Silence for a peaceful rest. How peaceful!!!
What a fantastic house and place! We had fun playing the games that the house offers, went to Fairplace where there is the Soup Cup (less than 10 minutes away) to taste the soups and did some shopping. It was essential to visit Breckenridge (about 30 minutes away) where we skied and then went to Blue River Bistro… and Alma, the highest point in the United States! Everything was close! Ah, the beds and pillows were comfortable and the kitchen was equipped. Amazing stay, great host, great location. Will stay again!
You couldn’t ask for a better view from this cabin. Beds were comfortable & kitchen was well stocked even including lots of spices. Had a bit of a bump when cabin ran out of hot water. We were told it was fixed but it was not. Not sure if the plumber “thought” he fixed it or just said it was. My fiancé went ballistic after nearly 3 days w/o hot water & plumber did show up. Also we were told we would get some sort of refund for not being able to use the hot tub a couple of days. Have not seen that yet.
Otherwise location is great, on a road that doesn’t require 4-wheel drive and would definitely recommend

Great location
The cabin was in a great location set back in the trees, and central to Alma and Fairplay. For everything they wanted to charge extra for on cleaning. I was a little disappointed on the overall cleanliness. For example, the lights above the island are eye height, you look at the top of the light. Which has not been cleaned in quite some time. We had a visitor visit us almost every night, he lives behind the sink cabinet. The connection the the TV was a little odd, screen casting???, I had to pay for the app, but could not get the TV to accept the link. It's cool the bed in the main bed room vibrates, but the cables running that to the corners are not comfy to sleep on. But I do have to admit we are used to a king...LOL
Wonderful property! Close to main road for easy trips to nearby town but also tucked away enough to feel in the woods. The kids loved the foosball table and nightly hot tub soaks after a long day of hiking!
