With 3 bedrooms, including a king bed and 2 bunk beds (full/xl and twin/xl) there's plenty of space for everyone to relax and recharge. The cottage features modern amenities like WiFi, a washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, heating and A/C ensuring a comfortable stay. Full kitchen is equipped with refrigerator, range, oven, microwave, coffee-maker, tea-pot, dishwasher, cups, plates, silverware. We had an amazing stay here! The area was picturesque and the cabin had all of the amenities we needed. We had the best time with our toddler walking up and down the beach hunting rocks, listening to the waves in the morning while drinking coffee on the porch, and walking the nearby nature trails. The cabin is the perfect place for a family to stay and have a fun, relaxing getaway in pure Michigan.

What an amazing secluded property! The cabin was beautiful and clean. The views were stunning. Overall it was just a really special place that my wife and I enjoyed very much. I would definitely come back here. Sergey was a wonderful host and made everything very easy.

This cabin was the best and the location was amazing. You are close enough to the lake to hear the waves inside. Sergey was so welcoming and kind. We cannot wait to book another stay here.

If you really want to get away from it all, this is the place. Gorgeous and very comfortable log home. Situated amongst the pines, away from the main road and steps from the beach. We truly appreciated the serenity, privacy, and nature!! Lots of snow, but road and driveway were always plowed, making it so easy for us to drive 10-15 min into town for food/groceries. We loved trekking around the property and beach with our dog Luna- she had so much fun! Strong WiFi, even during heavy snow/wind. Nice hot showers; very new and clean home. Comfy beds and quality linens. Dishwasher was a plus. Thank you to Sergey and Marina for being such gracious and accommodating hosts. We can’t wait to return!

Lake Huron getaway

Cozy with a beautiful water view. Very nice new construction. Owner very welcoming. The sounds of the water were relaxing and calming. The bed was so comfortable and we slept well! We enjoyed sitting on the large porch and looking at the water.

Tranquility

We had a lovely time at Marina’s cabin. Everything we needed was available and the cabin was beautiful. The beach was clean, the water was clear. Sergey provided excellent directions and suggested a few places we could visit close by. We were visited by some deer, saw a pileated woodpecker, and a few song birds. It was just what we needed to relax and unwind. Thank you for sharing this special place!

Fantastic Vacation Spot!

The cabin is wonderful. It has the perfect porch to hang out on. The kitchen is well appointed if you want to make meals. The water is steps away out the back door. Plenty of places to see and things to do around Alpena whether you like to explore towns or prefer outdoor adventures. This is the perfect “home base” that instantly feels like home.

Awesome stay

Very beautiful home and property. Clean and well maintained. The location exceeded our expectations, along with it being very quiet. For as far as we could see in either direction we were the only ones there on the beach. We have been to many VRBO's thru the years and this is our top 3 of all time. Look forward to possibly coming back next year.

Best family get away.

Super clean and right on the water. Very cozy! This place had everything you need pot and pans, cups, coffee maker ,all you need is your family and the memories will come. We had the best time at this place. Good weather and rainy it was a great place to stay. The covered porch was the best!!! Grab your coffee and wake up to the most amazing view. I would highly recommend this property for a family that wants to get away from it all.

Alpena Cabin

We loved it! The cabin was beautiful and clean. We had everything we needed and kitchen had all utensils, pot, pans etc. The view and the beach are amazing. It’s steps from your doorstep. Beautiful cottage. Nice Property. Great for a quiet getaway.

The cottage itself was beyond expectations. Extremely clean with modern appliances all around. Lots of common space. The property is small but has lots of privacy for campfires and morning coffee on the deck. The beach is rocky so bring water shoes. Owners contacted us right away and ensured we had what we needed. Some nice short hiking 10min drive from the cottage.

Perfect Getaway!

We absolutely loved our stay at Marina’s cabin. It is a lovely, comfortable home right on Lake Huron with all you need to simply relax and enjoy life. There is much to do and see in the area but we mainly stayed “home” and soaked in the beauty of the beach and Lake Huron. Beautiful sunsets, the Milky Way at night and we even got to see the Northern Lights. Also, it is rockhound’s dream location! Sergey is a wonderful host and made sure we had everything we needed. We have stayed at many, many VRBO homes over the years and this one is at the top. We do plan to return!!!

Great family get away

Me, my husband, our kids, and my in-laws all stayed at this verbo from thursday to sunday. It was such a nice cabin and get away. The master bedroom and on the opposite end from the other 2 bedrooms which gave my husband, me and the kids from privacy from his parents ans siblings. The beach is a littlw rocky so be a sure to being water shoes (they have a few available). It is about 20 minutes away from any town for store which is exactly what we were looking for to be able to relax and enjoy time away from the rush of life.

Marina's Lake Cabin ♥️

The home was fantastic, the lake was steps away from the front porch. We could not ask for a more accommodating host, Sergey was great. This is the first vacation we have been on, where we did not want to leave the home and explore- the lake was all we needed and we loved it. The home is spotless and was easy to keep clean and maintain during our stay, as everything was brand new. We will absolutely be staying here again- we cannot say enough good things about our stay and experience. Thank you!!!

Beautiful cottage, relaxing stay

We stayed in this cottage for seven nights and absolutely enjoyed it. The cottage was cozy and very clean. We had basically everything we needed for our stay. The beach is steps away. The whole area is peaceful and quiet. A morning coffee on the porch with the water view, and night soothing wave music was so comforting and relaxing. The town is just 15-20 minutes away, if you want to try some restaurants or get a little more supplies for your stay. Sergay and Marina were great hosts. They were friendly and helpful. Peaceful

We had a wonderful stay at Marina’s Lake House with our children and dogs! As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by Sergey (who was working/staying on property in a separate building). He welcomed us and gave us some helpful pointers about the beach and the surrounding area. The lake and beach were beautiful and the kids and dogs loved the water, going for walks, and looking for rocks. This was a rockhounders paradise!! The house is well out of town and surrounded by incredible nature every where you turn. There were lots of nature preserves, parks, and hikes nearby and we loved exploring them as well. In town we played putt putt golf at Lee’s, visited the local museums, and enjoyed Mexican food and ice cream! It was the most relaxing, peaceful vacation we’ve been on in a long time. We saw beautiful sunrises and sunsets and our last night there, and incredible northern lights show! We are already talking about a return trip in the future. Thank you to Sergey and Marina for sharing your beautiful home with our family!
