Baywatch Penthouse with Sea Views, Balcony and Wi-Fi

Ideally located right on Altafulla beach, in one of the few remaining fishermen’s cottages on the Costa Dorada and just 200 metres from the Sailing Club, which is also open to non-members and close to the restaurant area.



110 m² beachfront duplex in Altafulla. It has 3 bedrooms (the fourth bed is a trundle bed in the playroom), 2 bathrooms, an open kitchen with dining area, and a playroom.



The property is 400 metres from the train station, 4 km from the AP7 motorway, 12 km from Tarragona city centre, and 20 km from Reus airport. Barcelona is 80 km away.



The apartment is in the most sought-after area of Altafulla, right on the beachfront, so you can enjoy the Mediterranean Sea as soon as you step outside.



It’s very close to the beach shopping area, with supermarkets, a pharmacy, bakeries, and a playground. There is free public parking a 10-minute walk away and a public swimming pool 500 metres away.



For stays over 7 days, the owner offers a free cleaning service as a house rule. On arrival, you and the owner can agree on the cleaning day. Great location on the beach, idea for a couple or even family get away, plenty of space and walkable to resturants and sights with the beach at your door step. Hosts ate great as well.

Pros: Located in a quiet end of the promenade in Altafulla, with privileged views to the beach and sea. The property is very family friendly, well equipped and comfortably fits 6 persons. Definitely recommended for families wishing to spend a nice and quiet stay away from the bustle of the more touristic spots in Catalonia.

Pros: This is a lovely place to stay if you want to relax and have no external distractions. As we stayed earlier in the season there was not a great deal open however with a car we were able to explore the area in a little more detail. So close to the beach! The photographs do not lie.

Small village, neat shops. All very good if you like it quiet and pleasant. And good for jogging and walks. More than we expected.

Pros: We have just spent two weeks in this apartment, and are already planning to return. We took my 80 year old Mum who loved every minute, whether it was sitting on the beach, or in the armchair watching the sea from the balcony. There are some lovely restaurants in easy walking distance but we also enjoyed cooking in the apartment, inviting local friends for lunch and sitting round the big dining table. The apartment was spacious and comfortable and felt like home ! Next time we hope to bring younger members of the family, as there is a fabulous big room upstairs which would accomodate the children easily.

Pros: Communication prior to the stay was very little and only upon my initiative. We rented two holiday-houses for our 14 days holiday in Spain and experienced a big difference in the communication with the owners. Once we arrived however we were received by a very friendly lady, and all worries disappeared. The house itself is a bit wasted eg. paint from ceiling in upper bathroom is falling off and the kitchen and furnitures on second floor soon need to "retire" BUT having said that we absolutely LOVED the location of the house! Altafulla is lovely (if you speak spanish make sure to participate in the guided tour - the guide Joanna is simply wonderful!)and the light of the sea and beach in the evening is more amazing than the scandinavian light. Even if a bit wasted we highly recommend this holiday house and we would not hesitate for a moment renting the place again! Finally we would like to point out that you do NOT need to rent a car as the train station is very close by, and you can easily go to both Barcelona and very nearby and wonderful Tarragona.

Casita ideal

Esta antigua casita de pescadores habilitada como residencia de veraneo se encuentra en uno de los pueblos más hermosos de Cataluña. Aparenta ser más pequeña de lo que en realidad es, pues tiene dos habitaciones en la primera planta, más una cocinita y una comedor salón, y en la planta superior dispone de una habitación de matrimonio y una zona abuhardillada con una cama-nido y un sofá-cama. De cara al mar, en el paseo y junto a los restaurantes, esta casita es ideal para veranear, disfrutar de los baños de mar y del encantador pueblo de Altafulla. Nosotros, sin embargo, estuvimos unos días en diciembre, y aprovechamos para ver el mercadillo de Navidad y la Villa Romana.

Pros: En busca de un alojamiento en la Costa Dorada para una semana de vacaciones para huir el verano alemán con mucha lluvia encontramos este apartamento en primera línea al playa de Altafulla. Nuestra pregunta fue respuesta muy pronto y agradable y por eso reservamos este apartamiento para una semana del fin de septiembre. La propietaria nos recibió muy amablemente. Nos explicó todo lo que quieríamos y que tuvimos que saber sobre la casa y sobre Altafulla. Entonces se fue y para esta semana pudimos vivir allí como en nuestra propia casa. No hubo ningún problema y por eso no tuvimos que contactar la propietaria durante nuestra estancia aunque tuvimos números de teléfono por si acaso. Si uno no busca animación para sus hijos, buffet de desayuno o servicio todo el día, sino sabe como hacerlo a su mismo y solo quiere descansar y disfrutar la vivienda y el alrededor con tiendas pequeñas y restaurantes con comida riquísima a precios razonables y una playa perfecta - este apartamento es perfecto para usted. Para la alta sociedad: Por favor, mantense alejado y busquen sus hoteles de cinco o más estrellas y sus discotecas en otro sitios. Pero no ocupen un paraiso para la gente que no necesite lujo sin fin y comprensión. Gracias!

Pros: Es un apartamento ideal para desconectar en cualquier momento del año. Se puede salir a correr o a pasear por las mañanas y disfrutar del mar. La temperatura, aunque sea a finales de marzo, es muy agradable y permite conocer el pequeño pueblo costero de Altafulla con gran comodidad. Mis hijos, que tenían examenes, encontraron en el piso de arriba una pequeña sala donde concentrarse y a su vez, relajarse del estres de la universidad.
