"Fantastic stay, value for money, newly renovated"

"Lovely apartment with comfy beds. I asked for a high floor room and got one at the top with good views inland. Good size balcony. The swimming pool is open but only after 10 am. Across the road are bus stops and an excellent information bus hub. [Ask about a bus to the airports.] This is a quieter, greener end of Salou so you may be using local buses a lot. I recommend walking the coast path and visiting all the little local beaches. [Warning. The nearest beaches are one heck of a climb.] A trip to Tarragona is a must, especially for fans of ancient Rome. A Dac supermarket is just across the road but the best is Coviran just past the information hub. The bad... Check in takes ages and you have to leave a credit card deposit of 200 euros. The hotel next door is a bit noisy but the entertainment stops at 11pm and the patio doors shuts off the noise. Permanent residents live here as well as holiday guests. You need to leave the apartment clean tidy and free of your own rubbish including any leftovers you might leave for the cleaner [who comes only after you've vacated it.] I would stay here again providing I had the same room."

"The hotel is not safe.My daughter who is 13 years old was harrassed and intimidated by a man at the pool who was also staying at the hotel. I reported the incident to the hotel staff but no action was taken. I even emailed the hotel manager but I have never received any reply. I also spoke to that man who smelled alcohol and no staff stayed by the side to support me although the staff witnessed the incident. It appeared that they staff are not properly trained to handle situations involving guest safety and harrassment."

"Fantastic holiday in a fantastic location. It felt like centre parcs in the sun. The pools were amazing with no issues getting a sun bed. The only thing to note when booking is in some accommodations you need to pay extra for bedding and towels. Overall great stay and would certainly recommend it for families."

"From Check in to Check out, everything was amazing. Staff were very polite, helpful and welcoming. We paid half board and have no complaints with the food service, lots of options and different cultural food on the menu. Staff were also amazing and very efficient whilst dining. The rooms were cleaned everyday and again Staff were very pleasant and ensured the service was excellent. We changed hotel last minute from H10 to Hotel Belvedere and we are glad we did. The hotel had everything you needed, great entertainment, pool, gym, sauna, steam room and spa. We went as a couple and the hotel was busy full of groups and families making a great atmosphere for all. Would definitely recommend to anyone booking. We will certainly be back. To all the staff at Hotel Belvedere, Thank you for the best memories made in Salou."
