Great property within walking distance of the best of Mainz and good parking area. Place was nice and perfect for a small family to stay for a few days.

This is the best Hyatt that we've stayed at, both in terms of room quality and facilities (incl an excellent restaurant).

Frau Bruehle was very welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. Excellent breakfast and helpful and efficient staff. Elevator/lifts were quiet and quick. Location in the Altstadt is good with easy main-road access and many restaurants within easy walking distance, as is the river.

Good location, good breakfast and very kind staff. Good place to stay for a short trips. No restaurant is only my complaint. Very good sauna and gym.

We were quick in and out and really just needed comfortable beds, a cool room, showers and breakfast. All of these were wonderful. It’s in a cute neighborhood close to the river promenade/bikepath. Great dining within walking distance. Excellent beds, room temp, and stylish amenities. Loved the design. It being Mainz, birthplace of printing press the hotel decor references that in multiple subtle and stylish ways. Very cool hotel.

A nice apartment in a great location

Room was not cleaned on day 2. No information on the timing of room cleanup. Wasn’t a big deal though.

The hotel was located in a great location for attending the Christmas market. The room itself was spacious and very clean and stay overall with excellent.

Whenever I go back home to Mainz, I stay at the Ibis. My family has long since moved away, but at the Ibis Hotel, I am home and centrally located where I can meet up with friends and frequent my favorite establishments. The staff is always top notch helpful. The room is always clean and meets my expectations fully. If you need a great location, a basic and clean room, the Ibis Hotel will meet your needs.

This property has it all. It was a pleasure to stay. If you’re not from a big city, the sound of the local transportation, trams, buses and sirens can be noisy but I’m used to this so it wasn’t a bother.

The hotel is close to the busy Mainz train station and the neighborhood can be somewhat gritty. As a single woman traveling alone I felt somewhat uncomfortable that when I checked in on Sunday I needed to use the lockbox and enter into an empty reception area. We were also in another heatwave and the rooms are not air-conditioned. These are the only 2 negatives. The room was lovely and recently updated. I've stayed here multiple times and recommend it. The location is outstanding for airport access (at least on weekdays breakfast begins at 6:45, which is nice for early flights), and the (nice) city itself is not far away. The hotel has all the virtues of good German train station-area hotels (clean, efficient, pleasant staff). In addition it has good WiFi and breakfast included in a reasonable room rate, which is not a given. (There are also terminals in the lobby, which I didn't use.)...

This is one of the most beautiful European hotels that we have stayed in. The ambiance, history, and warmth of the hotel is magical. You feel like you're staying in a Queen's castle but our room was updated and comfortable. The staff could not be more pleasant and helpful. The restaurant was superb. I recommended this highly!!

Excellent hotel and great price, conveniently close to FRA airport. Hotel Shuttle provides access both ways. However to take it from airport you have to get to Terminal One Concourse B, exit the arrivals area, turn to your left and walk a ways to the end, turn left again and go to the Medical Center parking lot.
