"I made a last minute trip to American Players Theater and needed lodging nearby. The location was great, near Governor Dodge State Park. The room was very clean and quiet. The room was quite big, much larger than most hotel rooms. Staff were friendly. Overall excellent value for the price. I would stay here again."

"We enjoyed our stay in the property on Clowney St. The historical aspect of it was appealing to stay someone with some personality. It was central to so many great restaurants and shops in Mineral Point and Dodgeville (where our family is). The bedrooms were spacious and comfy and there is plenty of room to enjoy a stay."

"Loved it. I will say if you stay in the summer the air will freeze out the basement bc of where the thermostat is on the main floor. I put the box fan at the bottom of the carpeted basement stairs and aimed it up the stairs, it kept things in the house much more tolerable. Otherwise it is an ice chest in the basement. I do recommend this place though."

"Can't say enough about this place. Host was very responsive and helpful, the cabin was immaculately clean, the surroundings are beautiful, property is massive and our dogs loved it, plenty of games and multiple TVs for days indoors, etc. Would 100/100 stay here in the future."

"If you are looking for a peaceful getaway in very clean accommodations, this is a great place for you. If you want to relax, it's nice a quiet with a view of the river or if you want to be more active, it's one hour from Madison and 15 minutes for walking trails and kayaks. You can walk 5 minutes to grab something easy to eat or run to the gas station for small stuff. The cabin felt like it was brand new, and we would definitely recommend this place to others."
