Clean, pet friendly, comfortable beds, reasonable price.Lack of silverware, cooking utensils, furniture was ok, back porch dangerous (holes, weak flooring, broken wood). Needs railings on front porch. My main reason for this place was to sit in that porch and enjoy my family. I would rent again if this was all fixed. Neighbors safe and quiet.

This house was in the perfect location and a great, easy stay for our family.

Nice location with playground right behind the property and close to downtown. (I recommend checking out the Quarry Cafe for breakfast and Ziggy’s for dinner and duck pin bowling.) Easy highway access as well. About a half hour to Cedar Point or Cleveland and 40 minutes to Majestic Meadows. The property has a few maintenance items that should be addressed (deck has a few boards that should be repaired, screen on back bedroom window broken), but didn’t affect our stay. The waterfall shower in the master bath was nice. I also enjoyed taking the kids and dog on the story walk off to the left of the school parking lot and to walk in Beaver Creek Reservation.

Amherst

I would definitely stay there again. There was a few little things that could be improved, like cheap sheets on the beds, but ill bring my own next time.

Overall, it is a great property, Shower in master bedroom was turned off and a few tiles on floor were loose. But main bathroom was fully functional.

Cute and safe neighborhood. Home was generally clean, master bathroom shower not working. The dryer in the basement makes a really loud noise. Best for adult visitors.

Good location

Beds were comfortable, house was clean. A little bare bones on being equipped but it was sufficient for our needs.

Host was helpful as driveway needed plowed. And was able to check out eatly due to weather conditions. Master bathroom shower mildew snd loose tiles. Would not use. Overall cleanliness was not up to standards. Had to vacumn when we arrived. Refrigerator needs a new water filter. There was no can opener.

Great neighborhood and location. Large yard. Pet friendly. The cooling system in the house worked well and kept us comfortable in the hot weather that we experienced during our stay. The mattresses appeared to be new and were comfortable. The downside is the cleaning crew skipped a few spots. The stove top was a greasy mess. There were ants in one of the bedrooms due to candy stuck to the floor. The outside trash can was full, so we had to put our garbage next to the outdoor trash can (chipmunks got into it and made a mess that we had to clean up). The back deck was falling apart and unusable. We advised the property manage of these issues and he was very apologetic. He offered to send someone over to clean the house again, but I declined since we had full days planned and didn't feel comfortable leaving our belongings unattended while someone recleaned the house.

Not the best

PROS: responsive management, accommodated late check out, property as described, easy check inCONS: cleanliness (dusty as if it had been cleaned a long time before our arrival - not deep cleaned layers of dust on heat registers, under bed, etc), bottom sheets on all beds kept popping off and pillows extremely flat, shampoo in only one shower, slow internet, lawn un-mowed and property overgrown, bedroom thresholds broken and cracked, furniture odd ( weird chaise sofa in living room - only one nightstand per bedroom) and my biggest pet peeve - advertised as sleeps 6 but there are only 4 kitchen chairs even though there are room for more! 2 people needed to stand to eat!My family kept saying Management needs to move their family in for a weekend and see how this place functions and improve accordingly as it has great potential.

Amherst Ohio

The furniture was very uncomfortable in living room. Stove and refrigerator were filthy. Landscaping was horrendous. Gnats were flying all over the house as well as long black bugs crawling on the floors. Last but not least the dishwasher didn’t work. We also paid for pets but did not bring them with us. We would appreciate our deposit returned.
