On the second floor of this beautiful cottage from the 1800s, located directly on the river Nidelva, is a very cozy vacation apartment that gives you a fantastic view of the river, the mountains and the wonderful nature of Norway.

Here you sit together, warm yourself by the wood stove in the living room and discuss the excursions of the coming days, while dinner is prepared in the open kitchen.



In this wildlife-rich area, deer, elk, roe deer and other game skulk around the houses. Here you can experience Mother Nature up close, but Åmli also offers stores, cafes, a small beach and a museum. After an hour drive you will reach the town of Arendal, where you will find stores, restaurants and a swimming pool.



The way to the coast is also not far, and there you can rent a boat and go to sea to explore the archipelago. Visit the nature parks, which offer a glimpse into the life of the Norwegian Vikings.

Changing cultural-historical exhibitions tell about the rough life of the Scandinavian people, and there is also a big meeting of the Vikings in May, where you can witness staged craftsmanship, everyday life and struggle of the times long gone.
