Misinformation caused a lot of trouble.

The hotel was at a different location than indicated by our booking. The name was also wrong and changed later into The Castle Hotel after our stay. We had been desperately looking for The Great Top Castle Hotel as mentioned in our booking confirmation. It's NOT in the center but 25 minutes by car to the north (on a major trough road, please note). It has since become apparent that "the hotel" deliberately seemed to misinform about the location. After much back and forth with Hotels.com (Expedia), almost all deceptions have now been changed. Only it still says it is in the center. And that is NOT the case. The distance to Rainbow Street has now been added to 25 kilometers at the end of the information page, which is indeed in the center. We arrived at the wrong location at 00:00h. Luckily with a rental car. At 02:30 we finally found the right place with the help of the extremely friendly Jordanian people. What if we had come from the airport by public transport or a taxi?!?!? The staff was okay though, that wasn't the issue. Hotels.com also handled our complaints very correctly.
