We loved our stay! The hotel is in a residential area, which was a little strange when we arrived there. But once we came in and saw the decoration and the ambiance, we were sold. The service was excellent! The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. The rooms are specious; the staff cleans the room daily. Food is great; the bar is open 24/7. We look forward to staying here again in the future!

We had such a wonderful stay at Met Hotel. We stayed for almost two weeks and it was a great hotel. Loved the location. Two grocery shops and a corner store around the corner (1-2 min walk). The property was very clean and the ambiance is fantastic. Staff was WONDERFUL! All so kind and helpful when needed. We loved our room. My only comment (and it doesn’t change my rating because it’s personal preference) is that the hall has a very strong cologne smell. There are puffs of fragrance throughout the day, but it doesn’t need it. I liked it when they were cleaning because you could only smell their cleaning products. So I would say if you are sensitive to fragrance this might be a deal breaker as it’s VERY strong. That was the only thing I’d change but even with that I would absolutely stay there again and recommend it.

Great experience at the Met. Very well kept, great breakfast, and easy access to several trains. It’s important to know it’s in a relatively residential area, not in the thick of the tourist areas, so restaurants, and attractions are a train or bike ride away. For us that was a plus. Only minor critique was that we could have used a mini fridge because multiple grocery stores are nearby but the room was otherwise comfortable and well appointed. The bar area/front desk doubles as an Internet cafe of sorts so it was a cool mix of people throughout the day. We were very happy all around.

This is a very nice modern hotel with garage parking if required. Good shower although the configuration is not traditional and lacks privacy personally I prefer to have a normal bathroom. It’s easy to get the metro into the centre. The staff though are the highlight of this hotel. All were so helpful and willing to go the extra mile.

We had a perfect stay at the Met hotel. The rooms were spotless with great amenities, and the staff were lovely and very helpful. It is a bit far out from the city centre, but we actually really enjoyed getting the tram or the metro into the centre each morning - there's a station very close to the hotel. If we come back to Amsterdam we will definitely be returning here :)
