Mountain Cabin on Alyeska with Amazing Valley Views


Enjoy sweeping valley and mountain views from your fully updated mountainside cabin in the woods - all just a short walk to ski lifts and local hiking trails.

This beautiful cabin can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people. The main floor bedroom and the loft bedroom both have queen beds. There is a sleeper sofa in the living room and smaller day bed in the loft as well. The loft is accessed via a ladder-style staircase. The footing is secure and there are easy handrails - its great for kids, but not those with accessibility issues.

Also included: a washer and dryer, fully equipped kitchen, and WiFi. Parking for up to two cars.
No smoking, pets, or parties.
Use Forest Edge Hideaway as a base to explore Girdwood, walk in Moose Meadows, a day hike on Winner Creek Trail, a tram ride to 7 Glaciers restaurant, and the local food scene, including Jack Sprat, Chair 5 and the Double Musky. Further afield are day trips to Alaska Conservation Center, Prince William Sound, Spencer Glacier, Kanai Lake, Seward, Resurrection Bay, and Exit Glacier. The home was in a great location with a beautiful view of the valley. The inside was very cozy and comfortably fit our adult family of four. When we weren’t out enjoying the area, we spent a lot of quality time out on the huge deck. It was very relaxing.

We enjoyed our stay at this charming place. The deck offered a beautiful view, and the comfortable bed and blackout shades made for a great night's sleep. The convenient location was a huge plus!We loved being able to walk the neighborhood and get onto trails through town with ease. It was very quiet at night and just a peaceful place to be. We were grateful to have laundry onsite, though the dryer is a bit loud. We loved having the french doors wide open and sitting outside for meals, enjoying the view.The wifi was reliable. Some great maps and resources for the local area were provided, as was a selection of games. Overall, it's a very sweet place in an amazing spot and we really enjoyed the stay!

Fantastic little cottage perched high on the mountain! Great views! Quiet and relaxing. Easy to get to Anchorage or Seward. Nicely appointed property for guests.
