Lower level (basement) apartment with separate entrances and easy self check-in + separate laundry!
(Guests are above)

Great guest suite with all you need - that's also close to everything!
This is the lower level of the house.
Guests are above so you may hear footsteps, water running, talking, etc.

It’s fairly sound proofed though, so you don’t have to worry about being too quiet, but we do ask that you agree to quiet hours from 10pm-8am and be respectful.

1 garage stall available to park inside. A total of 2-3 cars can fit off street, otherwise street parking is allowed as long as it does not snow.

2 FULL bathrooms!
Kitchen is fully equipped with plates, cooking ware, etc.

Our apartment is available for extended (a month or more) stays, however it is probably most optimal for shorter stays.

**please note** 2 bedrooms, although one bedroom is used to access(walk through) to the living room and 2nd bedroom/bathroom otherwise each space is private when doors are shut. The 2nd bedroom does not have a traditional closet, however there is a clothes rack for you.

Backyard is a beautiful space that you're welcome to enjoy - sit by the pond, or lounge on the lower deck. (November through March pond will be mostly drained)

Access is easy all through a keypad - total self-check-in, and everything is separate of hosts!

We can often offer earlier check in/check out depending on other bookings. Early check in before 1pm (if able to do it) and check outs later than 12pm would be an additional $25 fee for our cleaner to come at a different time.

To access the apartment, there are about 10 steps to the separate entrance.

We ask that guests wash their own dishes (or run the dishwasher) and take out the trash.

We have white carpet and rugs, please have shoes removed at all time.

It is $10 additional/night for each guest after 2.

Pond is "closed" November through April

Great place!

Stayed here with my kids perfect layout for a family. Definitely different but worked for us we felt safe in the nice neighborhood and it was close to where we wanted to be. 10/10 would stay here again!

Cozy

Overall a lovely place, it had all the amenities you could want in a neighborhood that felt safe and welcoming. The kitchen had all that we needed, and everything was clean, comfortable, and organized. The host was responsive and helpful at all times when needed. The only possible downside would be the linear layout of the property, since accessing the living room and furthest bedroom involve walking through the first bedroom. This was not an issue for us and should not be for any groups relatively familiar with each other. Parking was easy, the yard was pretty and relaxing, and we went on several walks through what is a very nice neighborhood.

Buttermilk Basin Trip

I feel so lucky to have had a garage to park in during bad weather! It's much roomier than it looks in the pics. Nice quiet neighborhood, easy access to any part of the city! I hope it's still here and available in 2025, because i will surely come back here!!

Perfect place for exploring Andover

We booked this place while house hunting in the area. Had everything we needed and conveniently located. We even received 10” of snow one night and the drive way was cleared for us.

Perfect for our trip

We had a wonderful stay. The kitchen and dining area were big enough for us to have the family over for dinner. We were comfy and enjoyed the Andover and Anoka areas.

Property was very nice and clean owners were easy to work with. Only thing that I didnt expect was not having more then one tv but it was not a huge deal to us !!!! Kids and by that I mean my husband enjoyed the original xbox !!!

I would like to start with saying thank you for fixing the thermostat so quickly and for getting someone out to work on the garage door; unfortunately, the garage door still did not work properly and we had to keep using the larger garage door. Location was great and we were only 7 min away from the family we were visiting. There were some things though that we felt were disappointing, such as cobwebs in the windows and ceilings, mold on the shower curtain in the first bathroom, the sink in the first bathroom also did not drain. The restroom in the back has a broken handle on the shower door, as well as a broken towel rack on the wall, the shower rack hanging in the shower is very rusty and the tub did not hold water when I gave my kids baths in the evenings. The garbage bin outside was full and infested with maggots. Lastly, the entryway was not clean; there were bugs, ticks, and flies dead along both sides on the carpet. Couple things but we really enjoyed was the hot water and great water pressure. Again, thank you for allowing us to stay there, we just wanted to inform you of some upgrades we feel would really help.

Beautiful place, funny layout.

The location of the property was great and super convenient. The property itself was beautifully decorated with a nice cozy feel. They hosts even have simple amenities, iron, blower dryer and such at your disposal which is a nice touch. The only issue is the layout is a little funny. The pictures or description don’t quite explain that you have to walk through the larger of the bedrooms to get to the kitchen or living space. Luckily, we traveled with just family so we are all pretty close and it wasn’t too weird but if you were having a romantic couples weekend it could prove to be a problem.

Exactly what we were looking for!

I spent four nights here with my children and it was perfect! It was spacious, clean, and close to regional parks, lakes, restaurants, and shopping. Would return next time I am in Minnesota.

Works well for family of 6

We needed a good home base for our time in Minnesota. It had everything we needed for our family: 2 bathrooms, 4 separate sleeping areas, kitchen, laundry and space.

Owners were super nice

It was nice and spacious. Having a washer and dryer right there was great for we were to stay there for 2 1/2 months. Had a kitchen so we didnt have to go out and eat, that was nice. But it was in a basement, so if the air is on upstairs it gets cold downstairs, and if the air is off upstairs it gets warm downstairs. The living room's window is under the deck so is kinda dark, but again it's a basement. The layout was strange. As in from the kitchen you had to go through the bedroom to get to the living room. So no watching TV while cooking or eating cuz you cant eat or drink in the living room for the carpet is white and a fur white rug on top of it. I'm sure if staying a few nights or a week it's great, we stayed a long time so more things bothered us. Because we stayed so long we had no place to for our clothes that we didnt want to hang. No dresser, drawers or anything. But again when staying a short time, not a big deal.

Neat and Cozy stay

We enjoyed our stay here as it was clean and cozy and very accommodating for our group of 7 adults plus a 6 month old. Would definitely stay here again!
