"Our room was quite basic and a bit dated, but clean and tidy. There was a great selection of options for breakfast and it was delicious! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely meal the night before for my Dad's 80th and the food was delicious and the staff were very attentive. Thank you!"

"We had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant attached. Dinner was delicious and catered well to our vegetarian diet. Breakfast was adequate too. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Parking was convenient. Stayed with my husband and 2 kids, would stay again!"

It’s perfectly placed for visiting Ben Nevis and nearby attractions, while still feeling peaceful and relaxed. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. It had everything we needed for a short stay, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and easygoing. One of the highlights was how convenient it was for starting our daily trips — whether heading to Glenfinnan, Skye, or just enjoying the local scenery. It made our travel plans very smooth. "Second time I’ve used this hotel in a year when visiting FW. Staff are always helpful friendly and chatty. Was able to leave luggage there ahead of check in each time as I arrived early morning on sleeper train each time. Rooms and en-suites are well presented, clean and comfortable. Only marked down in one score as hotel looks a bit grotty on exterior. "

"Lovely welcoming staff who was on in the evening. We had a superior room which was fine, some of the hotel is bit tiered looking as you would expect from a Victorian Highland hotel but communal dinning and sitting areas are clean and well kept. Buffet breakfast we great "

"It is an amazing place - beautiful - our suite (queen’s suite) was incredible. The staff are amazing and cannot do enough to make your stay perfect. The food is incredible- highly recommend their amazing dinner service. This our second time staying there and we will come back next year."

"First of all I would like to thank Terry and his wife (Owners) for going the extra mile, This cottage is beautiful, woke up in the morning first thing I saw was Ben Nevis through the big window Amazing!!! The cottage is beautiful can’t say it enough well situated within 10 minute walk from the bottom of Ben Nevis also a 10 minute walk to the town, If you want peace and quiet this is the place to be. Thanks again for a great time."

"I highly recommend Achintee cottage no.1. My wife and I and our dog had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The cottage is luxurious and is in an idyllic setting with fabulous views of Ben Nevis. We slept really well on the comfortable king size bed. The location is very peaceful. Our host and her dog were friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again."
